Frequently Asked Questions

We know that it's difficult to plan for a destination wedding (especially in another country!) so here's your one stop shop to get all your questions answered.  We will continue to update this website as we get closer to the big day! As always, please don't hesitate to reach out to us if you have any questions.

1. Where will the wedding festivities take place?

The Welcome Party will be at Casanova at Castello di Meleto.

The Reception will be on the grass outside the main castle at Castello di Meleto.

The BBQ will take place near the main pool.

2. What are the dress codes for all events?

The Welcome Party is italian chic, sundresses or long skirts for women and a button-down shirt with slacks for men.  Men can opt for a linen sport coat.

The BBQ is casual, we will be hanging by the pool.

You can find more information on the Attire Inspo page.

3. What time does each event start?

The Welcome Dinner starts at 7:00

The Ceremony starts at 4:00

The BBQ starts at 3:30

4. Will transportation be provided?

We will provide transportation to and from each event at Castello di Meleto from our recommended hotels. To ensure a seamless experience, we kindly request that you arrive promptly, as there will be one designated bus for each hotel. Your punctuality will help us ensure a smooth and efficient transportation process for all guests

5. What shoes should I wear?

As the majority of the events will take place on gravel and grass, we kindly suggest opting for footwear that is both stylish and practical. Sandals or block heels are excellent choices to navigate the terrain with ease and comfort, ensuring you can fully enjoy the festivities.

6. Are children invited?

While we adore your little ones, we kindly request that you make this special day an opportunity for you to relax and enjoy without any childcare responsibilities. Thank you for understanding, and we can't wait to celebrate with you!

7. Do I get a plus one?

Due to limited capacity, we kindly ask that only those individuals who are specifically named on the invitation attend the event. We appreciate your understanding and are excited to celebrate with you.

8. Does Italy require a tourist Visa?

NO! The requirement for Americans to have a tourist visa in Italy was pushed to 2025.  You do not need a visa to travel to Italy in 2024.

9. Does Italy require a passport?

Yes! All US citizens need a valid passport to enter Italy.  The expiration date of your passport must be at least 6 months beyond your planned departure from the US.  In addition you need to have at least two blank pages in your passport.
